The Faith Life

Learning to Live by Faith

The Faith Life Conference 2026 focused on a central reality of Christian living: the just shall live by faith.

The conference emphasized the importance of becoming students of God’s Word and learning to respond to life’s challenges through Scripture.

01

Jesus and the Written Word

When Jesus was tempted, He repeatedly responded with the words, “It is written.”

This demonstrates the importance of knowing what God has said and allowing Scripture to shape our response to life’s circumstances.

Believers were encouraged to discover what Scripture says concerning their lives and to build their faith around those promises.

Scripture

Hebrews 11:1–6

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

02

Understanding Faith

Hebrews 11:1 describes faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

Faith provides conviction concerning realities that may not yet be visible.

The teaching also emphasized that faith gives believers access to God’s grace and empowers them to walk in the works of Jesus.

03

The Heroes of Faith

Hebrews 11 presents examples of people who lived by faith, including Abraham and Sarah.

Abraham demonstrated that faith involves obedience. He followed God’s instruction without knowing every detail of where the journey would lead.

The goal is not merely to start the race but to finish faithfully.

04

Running the Race

The Christian life is described as a race.

Believers are called to lay aside weights, deal with sin, run with endurance and keep their eyes on Jesus.

The goal is not merely to start the race but to finish faithfully.

The Faith Life Conference concluded with an encouragement to live by the Word, remain disciplined, walk in obedience and keep pressing toward the goal.
