New job
The job opened the day I walked in.
“When I first came to Canada, I applied for many jobs and heard nothing back. One company finally replied, but their hiring process stalled because of an IT issue. While I waited, another company called me in for an interview. They had earlier told me there was no space and were even laying people off. The same day I came in, the person in the role I applied for resigned.
I started immediately, and it has been going very well. I am grateful to God for His grace.”

“My immigration application stalled for two years, then began moving quickly, and my family relocated with stable shelter and support. Days before we travelled, I survived a car accident on the Third Mainland Bridge without serious harm.
My job search was difficult, including a remote role that faced repeated delays and equipment issues. After I prayed for a breakthrough at a church service in September, I was interviewed and hired that same month.
I also thank God for my twin sister, who safely gave birth in June.”
